Design consult
On-site visit to discuss layout, levels, materials, lighting, and shade.

Helical piles or sonotube footings sized to soil and load — no floating decks.

Pressure-treated joists, proper joist tape, and engineered ledger connection.

Decking & rails
Composite or cedar boards, hidden fasteners, glass or aluminum railings.

Lighting & finish
Inset riser lights, post caps, skirting, and final cleanup.
Before you ask.
Composite vs. Pressure Treated+
Composite decking is virtually maintenance-free, offers long-lasting uniform colour, and has a lifespan of 25–30 years. Pressure-treated decking has a lower upfront cost but requires regular maintenance.
Do you require a permit?+
If the structure is attached to the house, it will require a permit regardless of size.
Can you add a pergola later?+
If we know upfront, we'll reinforce the posts so a pergola can be added cleanly anytime.
